I have loved to draw since I was a child and this hobby has taken me to study fine art and art history at university and then into the design field. I have been constantly learning new skills and keeping up with current trends and technologies. That has led me to my current profession in user experience. I am a person who is passionate about good UX, responsive design, interactive technologies, art and illustration.
I am always on the lookout for exciting projects to work on. I enjoy and thrive on the challenges of the ever-changing world of technology. I take on contract work in User Experience Design, User Research and Testing & Information Architecture, and I really enjoy what I do.
I most recently worked on a government infrastructure project (which will not be public facing and details are confidential). For the previous year and a half I had been working for Thomson Reuters in the legal division. This work covers everything from BAU (incorporating UAT and User Research into new designs) for the data rich site to new and innovative web modules to allow users to access information in new and interesting ways. For examples of my work, please go to my portfolio. I also volunteer a lot of time and help clubs/unions/teams/societies with their web development and marketing. Such projects help me with keeping my skills up to date and using what I have been learning. Volunteer work overview >
